To muffle hostility and anticipate the radical movement, South Jakarta Board of Nation Unity and Politics (Bakesbangpol) will seal the quarters of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI) located at Jalan Bukit Duri Tanjakan Batu, RT 02/08, Tebet, South Jakarta.

We suggest them to do worship in the closest mosque

Chief of South Jakarta Board of Nation Unity and Politics, Moh Matsani stated, his party has repeatedly conducted persuasive efforts thus JAI stop their activity, as it is considered

unsettling citizens.

"We suggest them to do worship in the closest mosque," said Matsani, Wednesday (7/8).

Matsani disclosed that the activity of JAI has been ongoing for 10 years. Mostly the congregation are from outside Jakarta such as Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi.

The existence of JAI often got rejection from citizens or religious mass organizations. Including  the Islamic Defenders' Front (FPI) that had held demonstration at JAI quarters.

According to him, formerly JIA was formed only by one family consisting of husband, wife, and three children. "The house has violated the rule as it is supposed to be a settlement but it transforms into worship place instead," he expressed.
